Shubhangi completed her M.Sc. in biotechnology from the University of Hyderabad in 2024. After that, she was working in NIAB, Hyderabad as a Project Associate-I. She joined the lab in January 2025. 

She is primarily interested in exploring the interconnection between Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and Alzheimer's Disease (AD) for curating novel therapeutic strategies.

Sakshi completed her M.Sc. in Microbiology from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. 

She joined the lab in August 2024. She is exploring targeted drug delivery in Alzheimer's disease.

Dr. Suman Kumar Ray is a committed researcher with over 14 years of experience in Molecular Biology and Cancer Research, holding several National Fellowships and a Doctoral degree from Calcutta University. Actively engaged with national and international oncology associations, such as the American Association for Cancer Research, he also serves as an ambassador for the European Association for Cancer Research. His expertise in hypoxia and its implications in oncology is evident through his numerous publications. He acts as an editor for various scientific journals and contributes as a content writer in oncology, demonstrating his dedication to advancing cancer research and improving therapeutic outcomes.

Currently based at AIIMS Bhopal under an ICMR project led by Dr. Jagat R. Kanwar (PI) and Dr. Sukhes Mukherjee (Co-PI). Dr. Ray focuses on innovative research in Hypoxia Cancer Biology, nanotheranostics, and onco-nanotechnology, particularly through engineered Locked Nucleic Acid Aptamers.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Dr. Ray embraces his creative side by crafting poetry and short stories for various magazines, while also enjoying the strategic games of carrom, chess, and badminton, showcasing his diverse interests and passions.

Thesis title : Combinatorial Effects of Moringa olifera derived bioactive compounds with conventional chemotherapeutic agents against Breast Cancer

Dr. Deepa completed her MBBS from AIIMS Bhopal and currently pursuing MD in Biochemistry.

She is exploring the role of Adropin and Irisin in NAFLD.
